Please be aware that we do NOT participate in Medicare or Medicaid programs if this is your primary coverage.
⇒ What should I expect during my first appointment?
The intake process typically lasts about 60 minutes. In some cases, it may require multiple sessions for complex cases, with close follow-ups scheduled. During the intake session, we'll discuss your current symptoms, concerns, and treatment goals. Be ready to share your mental health history, including diagnoses, treatments, medications, and family history of mental illness. We'll establish treatment goals, address your questions and concerns, and cover practice-specific topics like communication with providers, emergency procedures, and policies regarding medication changes, payments, and boundaries.

Intake sessions typically last about 60 minutes, while follow-up appointments take around 30 minutes.

We treat adults with 18 years old and above.

⇒ Do you offer teletherapy or virtual appointments?
We offer both telehealth and in-person appointments.
⇒ How much will each session cost if not covered by insurance?
- $350 for Initial Full Psychiatric Evaluation
- $250 for Follow Up Medication Management and therapy
- We can also generate superbill for out-of-network patients
⇒ How often will I need to come in for appointments?
The frequency of follow-up appointments depends on individual circumstances. For new patients, it often involves several close follow-ups to explore different medications and optimize treatment. Once stabilized, follow-ups every 1-3 months are typical. For patients on controlled substances, follow-ups are required every 3 months at maximum and once a year in-person appointment to comply with DEA regulations.

⇒ What should I do in case of an emergency or crisis?
In case of an emergency, please dial the Suicide Hotline at 988, reach out to local crisis services, or go to the nearest Emergency Room. Innerpeace Psychiatric Services is unable to provide assistance to patients experiencing acute active suicidal or homicidal thoughts.

⇒ What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
For cancellations made 24 hours before your appointment, simply use the patient portal or give us a call, and we'll send you a rescheduling link free of charge. Cancelling within 24 hours incurs a late cancellation fee, so please do your best to avoid this.
⇒ Is there anything I should bring to my appointment?
- Government-issued ID
- Insurance card
- List of medications with correct names and dosages (you can bring the medication bottles if you're unsure)
